The following tips are to help customers taking their own photographs whilst Jump-Pad is unable to enter inhabited properties, (during the Covid 19 lock down).
General Guidance
Ideally take all pictures with good daylight, all lights and lamps switched on and doors to adjoining rooms closed. Where possible, rooms should de-cluttered with worktops cleared and minimised personal items on show.
All pictures should be taken width ways (horizontally), vertical pictures do not look great on the property portals. Pictures should also be taken straight-On, so your phone / camera should not be pointing up or down.
Feel free to forward a couple of pictures for each room, we can always select the best and all pictures provided will be processed through our photo enhancing process to ensure lighting etc is maximised.
Room by Room Tips
We would always suggest taking pictures of every room in the property.
Hallway
Take picture from waist height pointing towards something of interest such as mirror or doors leading into lounge / kitchen.
Living Rooms
Take picture from waist height from corner of room pointing towards main window at far end and feature wall (fireplace or other) on side wall. Ideally take two pictures with one pointing in opposite direction.
Kitchen
Take pictures at just above worktop height, typically pointing towards window with appliances to one side, take two pictures one from each end of the room.
Bathrooms & en suite
Take picture low down from corner of room or doorway at bath-top or wc height. Pointing towards window and bath or shower.
Externally
Take pictures are shoulder height, one away from the property and one from the far end of garden.
When you have finished taking pictures they can be emailed to info@jump-pad.co.uk. If the files are too large and wont send on email we recommend using https://wetransfer.com to transfer pictures to us.
Once the current restrictions have been listed we will gladly arrange to visit your property to take an additional set of wide angle pictures and take room measurements. For any further help or advise, please do not hesitate to call.
